However, the very same people do not condemn the violence that has been attributed to the MDC. While the MDC has denied involvement and I give it the benefit of doubt, we have not heard it condemn this violence they are associated with. As a self proclaimed peaceful party it is under obligation to do so.
Noticeably, the people who have condemned violence attributed to government have, like the MDC, not condemned the violence attributed to this party. Now this leaves an impression that violence emanating from the opposition is acceptable. Unfortunately, as long as we do not criticise the MDC on its silence on violence, and these high moral ground characters continue practicing double standards, the violence in Zimbabwe would be systematically left to escalate to perpetuate the political crisis. But this violence hurts the ordinary people. Have the ordinary people not already had enough suffering?
Let us all desist from engaging in Violence!!!!

Violence by the MDC is typically ignored by the Western Media. It is convenient at this time of regime change to focus only on the violence of Zanu-pf. Both parties should confront violence. Tsvangarai has organised a lot of beatings of his followers and continues to do so. The human right thing is important, but it should not be used as a pretext for regime change by the UK and USA
Couldn't agree with you more!
